Amanda Bauer is an American-Israeli archaeologist and multi-media artist. Working under the artistic signature “Goddess of the City” (Elat Ha’ir), her work bridges ancient iconography and modern expression. Her art revives motifs from Canaan and early Israel (ca. 1550-1000 BCE), drawing inspiration from her personal research as an archaeologist. Through fusion of ancient imagery, she reinterprets the past with contemporary vision.
